This site, raisabelluyan.com, is the personal professional blog of Raisa Belluyan. This page explains what data the site collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: I collect as little as possible, I never sell data, and everything you submit voluntarily can be deleted on request.
What I collect
Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe, I store the email address you enter, the page you subscribed from and, when present, the referrer and UTM parameters of your visit. I use this only to send you new articles. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe; you can also just reply and ask.
Email. If you write to me, I keep the correspondence — your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell me — so I can reply.
Server logs. Like almost every website, the server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, browser user agent) for security and troubleshooting. They are rotated and not used to identify you.
Cookies and third-party services
Google Analytics measures anonymous, aggregated traffic — which articles are read, where visitors come from. It sets cookies for that purpose. I look at trends, not at individuals.
Google AdSense serves the ads on this site. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this website or other websites; you can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising cookies are set and can change that choice at any time.
Google Fonts are loaded from Google’s servers to render the typography; your browser sends a standard request to Google when the page loads.
What I never do
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. I do not send your data to third parties beyond the services listed above. I do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to show, correct or delete the data connected to your email address — subscription, form submissions, correspondence. Email belluyanraisa@gmail.com and I will handle it within a few days. If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar data-protection laws (GDPR, CCPA), these rights are guaranteed to you by law; here they simply apply to everyone.
